Welcome to the digital prospectus for the new Linguistics Master's programme. This prospectus contains information on the various components of this one-year programme. For more information on the two-year Research Master in Language and Communication, please refer to the separate prospectus.
Efforts are continually being made to keep this prospectus as up to date as possible. For this reason, the Faculty of Arts no longer offers printed versions as they tend to become outdated soon after publication.
This prospectus covers the admission requirements, the structure and the contents of the programme and its course components for the 2013/14 academic year. The prospective contains information on the programme objectives and learning goals, course descriptions, exam schedules and practical information. It also contains a brief overview of the faculty structure and student facilities.
Programme announcements will be posted throughout the academic year on the programme page of the faculty website or in the Blackboard digital learning environment. Announcements pertaining to individual courses will be posted in the relevant Blackboard modules. The official Education and Examination Regulations (EER) of the various programmes have been published on the faculty website and can be requested at the student administration offices.
Upon publication of this prospectus in June 2013, information about professors and required reading materials may be incomplete or unknown. The programmes will do their best to make all information available before the summer holiday. Please consult this prospectus regularly before buying your reading materials.
