Explanation of course descriptions:
Scheduled:
At the Faculty of Arts, courses are scheduled in periods (4 in total per year).
A semester is subdivided into two periods.
Period 1 and 2 (1st semester): 2 September 2013 (until Friday 31 January 2014).
Period 3 and 4 (2nd semester): 3 February 2014 (until Friday 11 July 2014).
Please note that 1 and 2 stand for courses taught in the first semester and 3 and 4 for the second semester! Students are only allowed to take MA courses if they already have their BA degree and send in a copy of their diploma to
Level:
We offer courses at 6 levels. Level 1-4 are all courses at Bachelor’s level varying from introductory to advanced. Level 5-6 are courses at Master’s level. To be admitted to a mastercourse, you should definitely meet the conditions that are mentioned under "prerequisites".
Please note that students who will study at RU Nijmegen on a contract with the Faculty of Arts, need to choose at least two courses from the Faculty of Arts.
In addition they are free to choose courses from other faculties, on the condition that they have sufficient background knowledge in the specific field.
