This prospectus provides information on courses as well as on research departments that are relevant to Master students Natural Science and old style doctoraal students natuurwetenschappen. This is the last year that the old-style doctoraal programme will run.
The goal of a Masters study is quite simple: Find joy in becoming an expert in a field that you like to work in, whether that be biophysical chemistry, or theory of solid state physics, or science communication, every student here has a chance to study in a top-research environment, follow state-of-the art caput-courses and participate in front-line research.
Master students of Natural Science choose to become experts on the interface between disciplines, the surface where scientific development finds new ways. A Master in Natural Science is able to work with concepts and methodology of two trades. This brochure offers a sample of subjects available at the Radboud University. But be sure to also venture out further in the brochures of other tracks and otehr universities.
The three non-research variants that resulted from the Beta-convenant have been getting a clear shape and programme so that there are now 4 choices for the starting master student:
Research (O), Communication (C), Management (MT), and Education (E). All of these are described in this Masters Study Guide/Brochure.
Although the master Natural Sciences is intended to offer an all english curriculum, some information may still eb available only in dutch. Moreover, the C, MT and E-variants will partly be given in dutch.
